 Changing Your Account
Password Guide.
Using the Change Password option,
you can change the password for your account. This affects Control
Panel, FTP and Frontpage access, but does not affect the
passwords for any e-mail accounts you set up.
How To Change Your Account Password:
- From the Control Panel, select the Change
Password icon. The Change Password screen will pop
up.
- Enter your old password in the first field.
Enter your new password in the second field. Re-enter
the new password exactly the same way in the third field.
IMPORTANT: your new password must be 6-8 characters long
- no more, no less.
- Select the Submit button. A message
appears stating: "Password Change Accepted. Password change
will take effect within the next 10 minutes."
- To return to the main Control Panel page,
select the Control Panel link located in the right corner
of the top upper frame.
NOTE: the password change process does take
about 10 minutes. You can continue to work in your account
after you've changed your password, but you will not be able
to log out immediately and log back in with the new password
- you will need to wait the 10 minutes. |
